Win-Kre Malamutes was founded over 50 years ago with a heartfelt dedication to the Alaskan Malamute. What began with a single dog and a deep admiration for the breed soon became a lifelong pursuit rooted in education, hands-on experience, and a commitment to preserving the Malamute’s true spirit.
1970 - 1980
Learning, Showing & Building the Foundation
Throughout our early years, we immersed ourselves in conformation shows, studied pedigrees, and connected with other dedicated breeders. These formative experiences built the foundation of the Win-Kre program—one focused not only on show-ring success, but on sound temperament, health, and working instinct.
1980 - 1990
A Recognized Name in the Ring & Beyond
Our dogs began making their mark in the ring, earning AKC and international championships that reflected years of thoughtful breeding and dedication. Every title represented more than just structure—it celebrated the loyalty, intelligence, and balance we strive to produce in every generation.
